LA Art Show Debuts Art Under 10 Fair for 2027 Season

Fifteen percent of ticket proceeds from the 32nd annual LA Art Show will benefit GLAAD, as the long-running event anchors the city’s 2027 art season. Returning to the Los Angeles Convention Center from January 6–10, the fair introduces a new companion exhibition aimed at making contemporary collecting more accessible.

The new initiative, Art Under 10, launches January 8–10 in the convention center's Petree Hall. Designed to bridge the gap between emerging galleries and a new generation of buyers, the fair focuses exclusively on contemporary works created within the last five years and priced below $10,000. Executive director Kassandra Voyagis describes the addition as a natural evolution intended to lower the barrier to entry for first-time collectors.

Beyond the new fair, the main event features more than 90 exhibitors, including returning international names like Greece’s JS Gallery and the U.K.’s Rebecca Hossack Art Gallery, alongside first-time participants such as Taipei’s Bluerider ART and Tel Aviv’s Nisticovich Gallery. The 2027 edition also sees the return of the DIVERSEartLA platform, curated by Marisa Caichiolo. This year’s installation, titled "The Future as a Collaborative Human Experience," utilizes an interdisciplinary approach, pairing cultural institutions with architects and legal experts to create immersive, non-linear exhibition spaces.

Ticketing for the event has shifted to the platform Tixr, which aims to provide a more streamlined experience for attendees. Following the close of the Los Angeles event, the organizers will shift focus to the East Coast for the fifth edition of Art Palm Beach, scheduled for January 27–31, 2027.
