Natura Resources Taps SilverBow Veteran as Finance Chief
Christopher Abundis, a former SilverBow Resources executive, has joined Natura Resources as chief financial officer. His appointment arrives as the Abilene-based developer shifts focus toward the commercialization of its molten salt reactor technology, aiming to scale operations and secure the capital necessary for long-term deployment of its advanced nuclear systems.

CEO Jordan Robison emphasized that the hire provides the legal and strategic depth needed for the firm's next stage. For his part, Abundis pointed to the tangible progress of Natura's liquid-fueled reactors—which hold the first construction permit of their kind from the NRC—as the primary driver for his move. He will now coordinate with the board on project financing and the strategic expansion of the company’s organizational footprint.
