Flai Secures $27 Million to Scale AI Dealership Platform

CEO Ari Polakof has overseen a rapid expansion since the company's seed round last year, scaling the team to 40 employees and securing contracts with over 10 of the country's top 50 dealer groups. The software differentiates itself by automating inbound service calls, managing outbound campaigns, and providing real-time alerts to leadership regarding customer dissatisfaction or neglected inquiries. This operational shift has resulted in a 20x revenue increase over the past 12 months.

Beyond basic automation, the platform demonstrates technical flexibility, such as handling mid-conversation language switches between Spanish and English for luxury dealers in Puerto Rico. Dealers are typically fully onboarded within 10 days of signing, a speed Polakof attributes to a deliberate focus on customer retention and rapid response times. While the startup faces competition from broader AI solutions, Polakof maintains that deep vertical integration remains the primary defense against general-purpose enterprise tools.
