Works360 Unveils PLAiPulse to Visualize AI PC Performance

Houston-based Works360 has launched PLAiPulse, a monitoring tool designed to render AI compute activity visible during hands-on device testing. By tracking CPU, GPU, and NPU utilization in real-time, the technology aims to demystify how hardware handles complex AI workloads within a user's specific professional environment.

Works360 Unveils PLAiPulse to Visualize AI PC Performance

As AI PCs move beyond simple marketing specifications, the challenge for enterprise buyers is determining how internal hardware actually manages daily tasks. PLAiPulse addresses this by providing a window into the silent distribution of workloads across diverse processor architectures. Instead of relying on static benchmarks, users can now observe how their own applications trigger specific compute engines, offering a granular view of memory usage and power consumption alongside core processing metrics.

Founder Ali Khan argues that the current industry reliance on raw data like TOPS—trillions of operations per second—often fails to capture the true user experience. By deploying this software, Works360 allows customers to see the hardware come alive during trial periods. The initial rollout targets systems powered by Intel Core Ultra processors and Qualcomm Snapdragon X Series platforms, including specific Microsoft Surface evaluation units. Gavin Georgitsis of Qualcomm noted that such transparency helps bridge the gap between technical potential and tangible performance. While currently limited to Works360-operated evaluation programs, the company intends to pivot the software into a standalone commercial solution by 2027.
