Linda Hou Steps Down After Three Decades Leading ACC Heavy Duty

After nearly 30 years in the commercial vehicle industry, Linda Hou has retired as director of sales for ACC Heavy Duty. Her departure marks the end of a multi-generational tenure that saw the small family business evolve from a Davenport garage into a key supplier for major global truck manufacturers.

Linda Hou Steps Down After Three Decades Leading ACC Heavy Duty

Hou joined the family enterprise in 1997, four years after its founding, before spending a formative seven-year stint at Volvo Trucks North America. She returned to lead American Chrome in 2008, steering the company through significant expansion and its 2023 acquisition by Multi Parts Solutions. Under her tenure, the firm solidified its role as a strategic partner for OEMs including Daimler and Navistar, while maintaining a 80,000-square-foot distribution hub in Bolingbrook, Illinois.

Beyond her operational impact, Hou earned recognition as a prominent advocate for minority-owned and women-led businesses, securing honors from Diversity MBA and the National Federation of Filipino American Associations. Her successor, Brett Delp, joined the organization earlier this year to lead the launch of ACC Fleet Solutions. Scott Robertson, vice president commercial for Multi Parts Solutions, credited Hou with building the company’s industry reputation through decades of sustained, relationship-based credibility.
