The agreement centers on fostering youth participation through established platforms like Jr. NBA, NBA Basketball School, and the Her Time To Play initiative. By leveraging these existing programs, the two organizations aim to create consistent, locally relevant experiences for families and young athletes globally. The partnership will move beyond youth development into retail environments, where consumers can expect on-pack promotions, NBA-branded merchandise, and opportunities to win tickets to games and events.

Nestlé Brands Team Up With NBA in Global Marketing Push
Starting January 1, 2027, Milo, Nescau, and Nesquik will become official partners of the NBA in a multi-year deal spanning 21 markets across four continents. This collaboration marks the largest international brand partnership in Nestlé's history, focusing on youth development programs and widespread fan engagement.

Liberato Milo, SVP of Nestlé’s Confectionery & Snacking unit, described the deal as a natural extension of the company’s long-standing belief in the power of sport to build confidence and healthy habits. For the NBA, the move is a strategic play to tap into Nestlé’s massive distribution network and local market presence. Julie Morris, the NBA’s Senior Vice President of Commercial Development and Media, noted that the league intends to use this reach to connect with international audiences in novel ways. The activation will roll out across major regions including Brazil, Canada, France, the United Kingdom, and the United States, with the Philippines scheduled to join the program in October 2027.
