The partnership marks a homecoming for the Salt Lake City-based nutrition firm, founded by Dr. Myron Wentz—a University of Utah microbiology alumnus. Beyond providing third-party tested supplements, the collaboration integrates student-athletes into the USANA Foundation’s charitable outreach, offering new avenues for NIL opportunities and personal brand development.

Meredith Price, Utah’s Assistant A.D. for Performance Nutrition, noted that the access to vetted supplements is critical for the department’s safety protocols. This agreement aligns with USANA’s broader strategy of supporting elite competitors globally, now extending its reach to the Big 12 Conference program as it maintains a consistent academic success rate of 95 percent.
