The estimate, which carries a tolerance of ±20%, breaks down into CAD$546 million for direct capital and CAD$50 million in owner’s costs. Based on an optimized design, the facility is expected to reach an annual production capacity of 30,000 tonnes of lithium salts. CEO Mirco Wojnarowicz described the milestone as a critical step toward establishing a scalable lithium platform, noting that the projected capital requirements are highly competitive compared to existing Western industry benchmarks.

China CEC Engineering Corporation is currently conducting the Definitive Feasibility Study, which is slated for completion by the end of 2026. The final report will provide a comprehensive breakdown of operating costs, technical specifications, and the project’s overarching financial structure. Should the final validation proceed as planned and necessary permits are secured, the company anticipates breaking ground on the construction phase in the second half of 2027.
