Chicago-based digital asset exchange EDX Markets has integrated proprietary trading firm Raven into its institutional venue, aiming to deepen market liquidity and refine price discovery. The partnership combines EDX’s non-custodial trading structure with Raven’s high-frequency capabilities to support the exchange’s expansion among sophisticated institutional participants.

Tony Acuña-Rohter, CEO of EDX Markets, noted that the inclusion of specialized liquidity providers is critical for building resilient trading environments. Petar Kostov, co-founder of Raven, stated that the professional infrastructure at EDX aligns with his firm's operational requirements. Founded in 2023 by former Wintermute executives, Raven currently operates from Milan and Sofia, backed by investors including Coinbase Ventures and Hack VC.
