The patent-pending system functions as an auxiliary generator kit compatible with both new and pre-owned electric vehicles. By integrating the unit directly into the car, the designer intends to bypass the time constraints typically associated with stationary charging stops. Its functionality extends to both active driving scenarios and parked states, positioning it as a potential aftermarket addition or a factory-installed feature for automotive manufacturers and dealerships.

Kansas Inventor Proposes On-the-Go Charging for Electric Vehicles
“I wanted to create an efficient and effective way to charge an electric vehicle before the battery gets too low,” said a Wichita-based inventor. The resulting concept, dubbed the Pit Bull Generator Kit, aims to eliminate the reliance on public charging infrastructure by allowing power generation while a vehicle is in motion.

The design is currently handled by the national sales office of InventHelp, which is actively seeking licensing agreements or outright sales to industry marketers. Interested parties can contact the firm’s Pittsburgh headquarters at (412) 288-1300, referencing project 24-MHO-556.
