The merger brings together two long-standing BryteBridge Group companies under the leadership of Lora J. Lahoda, who joins as Vice President and General Manager. By integrating the high-touch, complex financial reporting capabilities of Nonprofit Suite with Foundation Group’s established compliance-focused bookkeeping, the firm intends to offer a seamless transition for clients as their operational needs evolve.

Foundation Group Merges Accounting Units to Serve Nonprofits
Nashville-based Foundation Group is consolidating its legacy bookkeeping division with the boutique firm Nonprofit Suite to launch a unified accounting practice. The new entity, Foundation Group Accounting Services, aims to provide a scalable financial platform capable of supporting organizations from their initial formation through complex, long-term growth.

Greg McRay, president and founder of Foundation Group, noted that the combination addresses the demand for a consistent accounting partner rather than a simple transactional vendor. The division focuses on three primary pillars: GAAP-compliant bookkeeping, operational financial reporting for boards, and strategic advisory services for audits and grant management. Lahoda, a CPA and CGMA with an extensive background as an auditor and interim CFO, will oversee the integration of staffing and service delivery across the combined client base. The new division is currently active, offering services ranging from monthly bank reconciliations to specialized interim CFO support.
