The development, spanning approximately 27,500 square meters, serves the Flemingsberg district, a medical and academic hub hosting institutions such as the Karolinska Institutet and KTH Royal Institute of Technology. Since entering the project in 2024, EQT collaborated with project manager ByggVesta to address the acute shortage of housing for students and researchers. Erik Körner, Senior Director at EQT, described the sale as a natural progression for the site, citing strong leasing interest as evidence of the area's long-term appeal.

EQT Real Estate exits 805-home Stockholm residential project
A total of 805 rental units in Greater Stockholm have changed hands as EQT Real Estate II finalized the sale of its Campus Flemingsberg development to Acer Bostad. The deal covers 417 completed homes and 388 additional units currently under construction, marking a significant shift in the region's housing landscape.

Acer Bostad plans to integrate these properties into its existing portfolio, which will expand to roughly 2,400 apartments across Greater Stockholm upon completion. Samir Taha, CEO of Gordion Capital, the operating partner for Acer Bostad, noted that the project’s energy efficiency and proximity to local transport hubs were key drivers for the acquisition. The remaining units are scheduled for delivery in 2027.
