Pretax profit also saw a decline, reaching 5.43 billion yen against the prior year's 7.03 billion yen.

Diluted earnings per share for the period stood at 30.57 yen, a decrease from the 39.81 yen reported in the previous half-year. These results, which align with Japanese accounting standards, indicate a tightening of margins for the company as it navigates the current fiscal environment.
