The company completed 1,702 metres of core drilling across ten holes, focusing on infill targets within the boundaries defined by its 2025 Preliminary Feasibility Study. According to Robin Jones, VP of Projects, the data validates the current geological models and suggests potential for further expansion, particularly along the western pit wall where six out of seven holes outperformed previous block model estimates by an average of 24%.

Defense Metals Reports High-Grade Rare Earth Intercepts at Wicheeda
Defense Metals Corp. has confirmed significant rare earth mineralization at its Wicheeda project in British Columbia, with recent drilling intersecting 2.33% total rare earth oxides (TREO) over 153 metres. The results from the spring 2026 campaign are expected to facilitate an upgrade in the project's resource classification.
Drill hole WI26-104 provided the campaign's most notable grade-width intercept, while other holes, including WI26-102 and WI26-103, consistently returned high-grade dolomite carbonatite mineralization. Defense Metals plans to utilize these assay results to refine its geological block models and adjust the mineral resource estimate for the Wicheeda deposit. All analytical work was conducted by the independent laboratory ALS Canada, with internal quality controls confirming the consistency of the findings.
