Vocca Secures $20M Series A to Scale Healthcare AI Voice Assistants
From 2,000 users to 15,000 in a single year, New York-based Vocca is betting that conversational AI holds the key to solving medical administrative burnout. The startup just closed a $20 million Series A round led by Norrsken VC, bringing its total capital raised to $25 million.

Vocca’s model differentiates itself by integrating directly into existing practice management software, bypassing the need for clinics to overhaul their workflows. By mastering specialty-specific scheduling logic, the system allows practices to go live in days. Founders Eliott Hoffenberg and Hugo Danet plan to deploy the new funding to expand beyond voice into additional communication channels, broaden its specialty coverage, and deepen its footprint in the United States. With 40 employees currently split between New York and Paris, the firm intends to double its headcount by the end of the year.
