Palmstreet Expands Live Shopping with Multi-Seller Collaboration

Five sellers can now occupy a single livestream on the Palmstreet platform, allowing hosts to invite guest merchants to showcase their own inventory. This update, which follows a September rollout, enables collaborative broadcasts where buyers shop from multiple independent shops without leaving the interactive, real-time environment of a single show.

The feature, known as Dual Selling, addresses a significant request from the platform’s hobbyist and collector communities. By integrating guest listings into a primary host's stream, the tool facilitates cross-promotion while keeping business operations strictly segregated. According to CEO Chen Li, the goal is to foster deeper connections between creators, enabling them to organize shows around shared interests or seasonal themes without the complexity of merging accounts or splitting revenue.

Despite the shared screen, each merchant retains total autonomy over their business. All inventory, order processing, and shipping logistics remain the responsibility of the original shop owner. Payments are handled independently, with no revenue sharing involved beyond standard platform fees. This decentralized approach ensures that sellers can pool their audiences and expertise while maintaining the operational independence of their respective brands.
