Singularity Future Technology Faces New $5.8 Million Settlement

Investors who held Singularity Future Technology securities between February 2021 and February 2023 have a second chance at recovery following a newly proposed $5.8 million class action settlement. The agreement arrives after the court rejected a previous resolution attempt, forcing parties back to the negotiating table to address damages.

Simpluris, Inc., the court-appointed administrator, confirmed that the settlement covers those who acquired securities in the company formerly known as Sino-Global Shipping America Ltd. The fund will cover legal fees, litigation expenses, and administration costs, with the remainder distributed among eligible class members based on a court-approved plan. This latest agreement supersedes the proposal that failed to secure final approval in 2025.

Class members who wish to remain part of the settlement are not required to take further action and will be bound by the court’s eventual judgment. Those intending to opt out or file an objection must submit their requests by January 11, 2027. A final fairness hearing is scheduled for January 25, 2027, at the United States District Court for the Eastern District of New York. Detailed instructions and documentation for claimants are available via the official settlement website.
