The company’s participation in the Detroit exhibition follows a period of commercial growth, highlighted by a recent safety contract with Kia Georgia. As the electrification of transportation and energy storage accelerates, the industry faces mounting pressure to mitigate risks associated with thermal runaway, cell-to-cell propagation, and potential reignition. FCL-X intends to use the event to connect with engineers, automotive OEMs, and energy storage operators who require specialized safety infrastructure.

FCL-X Fire & Safety to Exhibit at The Battery Show 2026
FCL-X Fire & Safety will present its proprietary lithium-ion fire extinguishing technology at The Battery Show North America 2026, held October 13–15 at Huntington Place in Detroit. The appearance at booth 1629 marks a push to secure the company’s role as an integrated safety partner for the expanding battery sector.

Beyond its core extinguishing agent, the firm is broadening its scope to include risk assessment, fire protection engineering, and health and safety support for industrial environments. CEO Carlos Vicens noted that as battery deployment becomes more pervasive, safety protocols must evolve to cover the entire lifecycle of these units, from manufacturing and testing to end-of-life management.
