Toyo Asano Foundation Profits Plummet Amid Revenue Slump

Toyo Asano Foundation saw its net profit crater to 13 million yen for the six months ending August 31, a sharp decline from the 60 million yen reported during the same period last year. The results, filed under Japanese accounting standards, reflect a difficult half-year marked by shrinking margins across the firm's operations.

Revenue for the period dropped to 6.29 billion yen, down from 7.26 billion yen a year earlier. This contraction hit the bottom line hard, as operating profit plummeted to 42 million yen from 468 million yen. Pretax profit followed a similar downward trajectory, falling to 32 million yen compared to 432 million yen in 2025. Consequently, earnings per share for the company, listed on the Tokyo Stock Exchange under ticker 5271, fell to 10.53 yen from 46.39 yen.
