The launch event, hosted alongside local partner M-AUTOMOTIV, marks a significant shift in GAC’s strategy for the region. By adding these vehicles to the SUVs introduced in July—the S7 PHEV, EMKOO HEV, and EMZOOM—the manufacturer now covers a spectrum ranging from family-oriented MPVs to pure electric supercars. The GN8 PHEV targets the business and family sector with a 1,000 km combined range, while the HYPETEC SSR aims to capture the premium performance market with a 0-100 km/h sprint time of 1.9 seconds.

GAC Expands Moroccan Footprint with Premium EV Fleet and AirCab Debut
Under the banner of "The Future Lands in Morocco," GAC transformed a Casablanca venue into a futuristic transit terminal on September 24 to unveil three new energy models. The debut included the GN8 PHEV, the HYPETEC HT, and the high-performance HYPETEC SSR, alongside the African premiere of the GOVY AirCab.

Beyond traditional vehicle sales, the event highlighted a push into low-altitude mobility. The GOVY AirCab served as the centerpiece of the immersive "GAC Terminal" experience, signaling the brand’s interest in urban air transit. M-AUTOMOTIV, acting as the exclusive distributor, plans to leverage this expanded portfolio to scale its service network beyond current hubs in Casablanca and Tangier, targeting further reach into Rabat, Agadir, and El Jadida.
