Leifras Marks First Year on Nasdaq with Record Financial Gains

One year after its debut on the Nasdaq Capital Market, Japanese sports education operator Leifras has hit a pivotal growth milestone by securing operations across all 47 prefectures of Japan. The company used its anniversary to report record-high revenue and profit figures for the first half of fiscal year 2026.

Leifras Marks First Year on Nasdaq with Record Financial Gains

Since its October 2025 listing, Leifras has aggressively expanded its business platform beyond children’s sports schools. The company now reports JPY 5.98 billion in revenue for the first half of fiscal year 2026, marking an 8.9% year-over-year increase. Profitability metrics surged even further, with adjusted operating income climbing 105.6% to JPY 139.68 million, fueled by a robust performance in the Social Business segment which handles school club support and after-school care.

Strategic acquisitions have been central to this trajectory. By integrating firms like Tokai Sports and SWIFT JAPAN, Leifras has diversified into childcare and welfare services. The company is now pivoting toward international markets, having signed an agreement to acquire the Canadian soccer school operator A TO SPORTS INC. CEO Kiyotaka Ito stated that the Nasdaq listing served as a starting point for this expansion, with the firm now focused on deepening its regional presence and scaling its model across North America.
