The collaboration makes BodySpec the preferred scanning partner across 15 major U.S. metropolitan areas, including Los Angeles, Chicago, and New York. Under the new model, Core members are entitled to one annual scan, while Premium subscribers gain access to quarterly assessments. These results integrate into the existing Future ecosystem, which already tracks sleep, mobility, and bloodwork to inform coaching adjustments.

Future Partners With BodySpec to Integrate DEXA Scans Into Coaching
Personalized coaching platform Future is incorporating medical-grade body composition scans into its membership tiers through a new partnership with BodySpec. By linking DEXA data—which tracks visceral fat, bone density, and lean muscle—directly to human-led health plans, the company aims to provide members with a precise, actionable roadmap for their wellness goals.

Early beta testing indicates that data-driven feedback significantly impacts user behavior. Participants who underwent a DEXA scan averaged 5.8 workouts per week, a substantial increase over the 3.7 workouts logged by those who opted out. Engagement with coaches also rose, with scan participants averaging 6.7 messages weekly compared to 4.7 for others. Future CEO Ali Jafari emphasized that the scans gain true utility only when interpreted through an ongoing coaching relationship, allowing users to visualize progress and adjust strategies based on objective physiological changes.
