Beta Bionics Faces Class Action Over Alleged Concealment of Device Risks

Investors who purchased Beta Bionics common stock between July 30, 2025, and February 24, 2026, are being urged to contact Hagens Berman ahead of a November 3, 2026, deadline. The class action lawsuit alleges the company misled shareholders regarding safety failures and regulatory compliance for its iLet insulin delivery system.

Beta Bionics Faces Class Action Over Alleged Concealment of Device Risks

The legal action centers on assertions that Beta Bionics management downplayed FDA scrutiny of its manufacturing processes while simultaneously promoting the iLet device as the most automated and user-friendly system on the market. In October 2025, CEO Sean Saint characterized an FDA Form 483 inspection as a routine procedural matter related to administrative complaint handling. However, the lawsuit claims this narrative intentionally concealed thousands of safety reports, including instances of life-threatening hypoglycemia that went uninvestigated and unreported.

The situation shifted in February 2026 following the release of an FDA warning letter issued to Saint. The agency cited systemic failures in the company’s quality data analysis and a failure to report device malfunctions linked to serious adverse health outcomes within the required 30-day window. Hagens Berman partner Reed Kathrein stated that the firm is investigating whether the company prioritized revenue over patient safety. Investors who suffered losses during the specified period are encouraged to submit their claims or provide relevant information to the firm’s investigation team.
