Abstracta Launches Quality Intelligence to Accelerate Banking Releases

As AI development tools accelerate software production, financial institutions face a growing gap between coding speed and reliable deployment. Abstracta is addressing this bottleneck by introducing Quality Intelligence, a framework designed to help banks and insurers assess risk in real-time and maintain control over critical release decisions.

Abstracta Launches Quality Intelligence to Accelerate Banking Releases

The initiative, unveiled by Co-CEO Sofía Palamarchuk at the Quality Sense Conf 2026, aims to reconcile the velocity of AI-generated code with the stringent safety requirements of the financial sector. Abstracta’s approach moves beyond traditional testing by aggregating data from requirements, code, production incidents, and business rules. This process is powered by Abstracta Intelligence, an enterprise platform built on Tero, an open-source agent harness available on the Microsoft Marketplace.

By integrating with existing banking infrastructure—ranging from CI/CD pipelines to legacy core systems—the platform provides automated impact analysis and risk assessment. These agents synthesize technical evidence into release readiness dashboards, ensuring that while machines handle the data analysis, final accountability remains with human stakeholders. The framework aligns with the U.S. Department of the Treasury’s Financial Services AI Risk Management Framework, emphasizing auditability and stage-based adoption.

Abstracta, which has previously partnered with institutions like BBVA and Santander, claims the methodology has already yielded significant operational gains in pilot programs. These include a 40% reduction in production defects and a dramatic compression of regression cycles from days to 30 minutes. To support adoption, the company is offering a 90-day framework for enterprises to evaluate their quality maturity and integrate AI-assisted validation into their release workflows.
