Pringles Offers Fans Eternal Resting Place in Branded Urn

Pringles is challenging its most devoted fans to sign a "will and taste-ament" this Halloween, pledging to spend their afterlife inside a custom, can-shaped urn. The bizarre promotional campaign mimics the final request of the brand’s original inventor, who was famously laid to rest inside a Pringles container in 2008.

Between October 13 and October 22, participants can enter the "Once You Drop" sweepstakes by visiting the brand's dedicated website. The contest, which leans into the macabre humor of the season, features a film starring funeral director Dan The Funeral Man to promote the unusual offer.

One randomly selected winner will receive a precious-metal urn engraved to match the iconic Pringles silhouette. The prize package also includes a 200-year supply of crisps, intended as a legacy gift for the winner's heirs. Mauricio Jenkins, the company's brand lead for salty snacks, described the initiative as a way to embrace absurdist storytelling while cementing the product's place in fan history. Entrants must be U.S. residents aged 18 or older, with the winner scheduled to be notified around October 31.
