The program creates a tiered ecosystem for the retailer's 1.5 million-part catalog. A free tier allows users to earn points on every purchase, while the $79 annual CarParts+ Gold membership offers 24/7 roadside assistance, triple points, and free shipping on over one million items. Since a soft launch in early September, the company has already enrolled 118,000 members and issued 15 million points.

CarParts.com Debuts Loyalty Program to Capture Aftermarket Repeat Sales
With the national average cost of a single tow exceeding $79, CarParts.com is betting that a new two-tier loyalty program will entice drivers to consolidate their repair spending. The initiative, CarParts+ Rewards, marks the company's first foray into a points-based system designed to incentivize long-term customer retention.

Chief Marketing Officer Christina Bylin stated that the move represents the next evolution in the company's goal to make vehicle maintenance more affordable. By integrating point redemption directly into the checkout flow, the company aims to convert one-time buyers into repeat customers. Existing paid members are being automatically migrated to the Gold tier, which also includes extended 60-day returns and priority support. The platform is now live for all users, with enrollment processes designed to take less than a minute.
