Envalior Debuts Bio-Based PPS and Circular PA6 at Fakuma 2026

The showcase, running October 12 to 16, features the new Xytron B-MB PPS portfolio. This material utilizes ISCC PLUS-certified second-generation biomass to achieve a 40% reduction in carbon footprint while maintaining the mechanical and thermal properties of conventional grades. These drop-in alternatives are intended to assist customers in addressing Scope 3 emission targets without requiring significant tooling adjustments.

Circular Innovation and Industry Standards

Beyond bio-based materials, Envalior is addressing the European Commission’s End-of-Life Vehicles Regulation (ELVR) through a strategic collaboration with SECARA. The partnership utilizes catalytic depolymerization to transform end-of-life vehicle plastics into high-quality caprolactam for PA6 production, creating a closed-loop supply chain for demanding automotive components. This initiative complements existing products like the Pocan T-series, which already incorporates up to 60% recycled content.

Envalior’s commitment to these standards is underscored by its recent EcoVadis Gold Medal status, where it scored 88/100, placing the firm in the top 5% of assessed companies. Artur Völk, lead for Circular and Low Carbon Solutions, noted that the company’s focus remains on delivering sustainable alternatives that perform under rigorous industrial conditions. Attendees can view these material solutions at Hall B4, stand 4302.
