Founded in 2017 by Georgia natives Blair and Laura Lott, the brand distinguishes itself by donating 50% of its profits to animal rescue organizations. To date, the company has contributed more than $150,000 to over 200 partner groups across the United States. The move into the AVP banner stores aligns with the founders' strategy of reaching consumers in environments where they already purchase pet supplies.

Rescue Dog Wines Expands Into Idaho and Colorado via Albertsons
Pet owners in Idaho and Colorado can now find Rescue Dog Wines on the shelves of select Albertsons locations, marking a significant geographic push for the Lodi-based winery. The expansion leverages a partnership with ZONIN1821 to bring the brand’s mission-driven labels into two of the nation's most dog-friendly states.
The current portfolio arriving in the region includes a 2024 Chardonnay and a 2023 Cabernet Sauvignon, with the latter produced from vines over 25 years old. Winemaker Susy Vasquez oversees the production at the Lodi facility, focusing on sustainable, food-friendly profiles. Beyond retail shelves, Blair Lott indicated that the company is simultaneously working to increase its presence in regional bars, restaurants, and hotels to further support local animal rescue efforts.
