The XPress Lite arrives as a direct follow-up to the higher-powered XPress2, prioritizing agility and a streamlined profile for city navigation. Beneath its lightweight aluminum frame, the bike houses a 500-watt hub motor paired with a Shimano Altus 8-speed drivetrain. According to CEO and co-founder Levi Conlow, the design intent was to provide the tactile feel of a standard bicycle while maintaining the necessary torque for tackling urban hills.

Lectric eBikes Targets Urban Commuters with New $1,099 XPress Lite
Priced at $1,099, the new XPress Lite from Phoenix-based Lectric eBikes aims to bridge the gap between traditional cycling and motorized transit. The company claims its latest model utilizes advanced pedal programming to eliminate the abrupt power delivery often associated with budget-friendly electric bikes, favoring a natural, intuitive riding experience.

Technical specifications include a torque sensor with an integrated XPerience Switch, allowing riders to toggle to a cadence sensor. The system offers five levels of pedal assist and functions as a Class 1, 2, or 3 ebike via a thumb throttle. Safety and maintenance features include Star Union hydraulic brakes, turn signals, and puncture-resistant tires pre-treated with Slime. The bike is available immediately in four colors—Toasted Marshmallow, Pine Green, Glacier Blue, and Stratus White—through the company's website.
