The conference sessions addressed the heavy economic toll of flawed research, with Predictum Inc. executives Wayne J. Levin and Dr. Philip Ramsey noting that poor methodology costs the U.S. economy billions annually. Technical discussions shifted to the mechanics of modern AI, featuring IBM’s Dr. Kaoutar El Maghraoui, who explored methods for efficient large language model inference.

Additional sessions focused on the hardware architecture powering today’s machine learning, including FPGA accelerators discussed by Nile University’s Dr. Lobna A. Said and responsible AI integration in marketing led by Dr. Amir Toliyat. Beyond the plenary stage, online and in-person participants examined the digital transformation of sectors ranging from aviation and supply chains to global energy grids. Dr. Sanaa Faquir, who moderated the event, emphasized that hosting the summit solidified Vaughn’s academic standing, creating new pathways for research grants and institutional partnerships.
