As global health leaders gather in the United Arab Emirates this October, Likang Life Sciences plans to showcase its AI-driven approach to cancer treatment. Shannon Cheung, the company’s co-founder, will represent the firm at the Abu Dhabi Future Health Summit to discuss the transition of neoantigen therapies from labs to clinics.

The summit, hosted by the Department of Health – Abu Dhabi from October 20–22, centers on the theme "To Sense Is to Predict," highlighting the intersection of genomics and artificial intelligence. The event is set to draw stakeholders from over 100 countries to the ADNEC Centre, where Cheung will participate in "The Future of Cancer" panel on October 21.

Likang Life Sciences intends to use the platform to demonstrate its proprietary neoantigen discovery engine. The company’s primary focus remains its lead candidate, LK101, an mRNA-DC therapeutic vaccine. This treatment has already secured regulatory clearance from China’s NMPA and gained U.S. FDA Investigational New Drug status in 2025. By engaging with international partners at the summit, the firm aims to integrate its research into the broader precision medicine ecosystem and accelerate the development of patient-specific T-cell therapies.
