Widex Expands Allure AI Hearing Aid Reach to U.S. and Europe

Five times more users preferred the Widex Allure AI RIC over competing devices in real-world tests, prompting the manufacturer to expand availability to 15 additional countries. The rollout, including the U.S. and major European markets, introduces the brand’s on-demand Clarity Boost technology to a significantly wider patient base.

Widex Expands Allure AI Hearing Aid Reach to U.S. and Europe

The Allure AI RIC, powered by the W1 chip, represents a departure from traditional automated AI. Instead of constant background processing, it features a dedicated co-processor that wearers activate via a single tap. This Clarity Boost function leverages an audio-specific neural network to suppress noise while preserving sound quality, a feature internal research suggests improves speech understanding by up to 20% compared to rival premium hearing aids.

Alongside the hardware expansion, Widex is reintegrating its Zen Therapy suite into the Compass Cloud software. This update allows hearing care professionals to provide more granular, personalized tinnitus management directly through the Allure app and clinical counseling tools. Ngozi Amobi, Head of Widex, noted that the integration of Zen Therapy was a primary request from clinical partners, further distinguishing the Allure platform in a competitive market. The devices are available immediately in the new regions, with professionals advised to coordinate with local sales managers for specific deployment schedules.
