The system integrates containerized SST technology with DC/DC converters to streamline power stages. By utilizing a modular design, Delta reduces the complexity of on-site wiring and commissioning, providing a scalable framework for data centers to handle rapid AI load fluctuations. These units can incorporate high C-rate batteries to ensure millisecond-level power stability during peak operations.

Delta Debuts SST-Based DC Power System to Accelerate AI Infrastructure
Cutting on-site deployment time by up to 50%, Delta has unveiled a new prefabricated solid-state transformer (SST)-based DC power system at Energy Taiwan 2026. The solution aims to modernize energy infrastructure for AI factories and high-density computing centers, promising a 4–5% boost in total power conversion efficiency.

Beyond power conversion, Delta is expanding its footprint in local energy generation through a partnership with The Great Taipei Gas Corporation. This collaboration includes the development of a 550 kW solid oxide fuel cell (SOFC) demonstration site in Taiwan. The SOFC technology, which reaches up to 85% energy efficiency when combined with heat recovery, offers industrial facilities a low-carbon, decentralized power alternative to standard utility grids. Delta plans to move these solutions into trial production by late 2026.
