Lumana and Convergint Partner to Modernize Enterprise Video Security

Most organizations sit on massive archives of unused video footage, treating their security cameras as passive recording devices. Lumana and global integrator Convergint are launching a partnership to bridge this gap, deploying AI-driven software that turns existing camera infrastructure into proactive intelligence agents for enterprise and public sector clients.

The collaboration leverages Convergint’s worldwide network of technology centers to design, install, and service Lumana’s platform. By integrating the proprietary VIA-1 intelligence model, the system processes video locally on-premises. This hybrid-cloud architecture minimizes bandwidth usage and latency while maintaining compliance with strict standards like SOC 2 Type II, ISO 27001, and HIPAA.

Sagi Ben Moshe, CEO of Lumana, emphasized that the partnership enables customers to gain actionable insights without the need for a costly hardware overhaul. For Convergint, the deal expands a portfolio already serving critical infrastructure and Fortune 500 companies. The platform is designed to learn from specific environments, allowing teams in sectors ranging from healthcare to manufacturing to automate monitoring and accelerate incident response times.
