Artisans have begun preparing the site to grow and harvest tens of thousands of icicles, a process that requires precise environmental control to assemble the one-acre, 20-million-pound structure. Founder Brent Christensen noted that the Lincoln–Woodstock area remains a cornerstone for the company, which first began as a backyard project in Utah before expanding into an international attraction.

Ice Castles Returns to New Hampshire for 2026-27 Winter Season
The White Mountains will transform once again as the hand-built ice attraction returns to North Woodstock for the 2026–27 season. Located at 24 Clark Farm Road, the installation features massive frozen tunnels, towers, and caverns that rely on evolving weather conditions to sustain their intricate, LED-lit architecture through early March.

Beyond the primary ice structures, the site will host the inaugural New England Ice Carving Championships from February 26 to 28, 2027. Visitors holding admission tickets will also have access to the Mystic Forest Light Walk and snow tubing areas. While the official opening is targeted for late December, actual dates remain subject to winter temperatures. Tickets will be available exclusively through the company's website, with additional locations for the upcoming season expected to be announced in the coming weeks.
