Jim Wilson Named CEO of Merged Higher Education Services Firm

Wilson arrives with a track record of scaling technology and professional services firms, having previously held top leadership positions at RedHelm, Ntiva, and Integration Partners. His appointment marks a transition for the company, which is backed by private equity firm Atlantic Street Capital. While Murphy and Glubke step back from day-to-day operations after decades of service, they will remain involved as strategic advisors to ensure organizational continuity.

The merger, finalized earlier this year, combines the two companies' expertise in institutional leadership, technology, finance, and human resources. Paul Sun, a partner at Atlantic Street Capital, noted that Wilson’s focus on building durable client relationships is central to the firm's strategy for navigating the shifting landscape of higher education. Wilson plans to deepen these partnerships by integrating the combined entity’s capabilities to help colleges manage operational complexity and improve institutional performance.
