The capital injection comes from a group including Bessemer, Lightspeed, and The Garage, as well as notable individual investors such as Wix president Nir Zohar. This funding marks a shift for Weiss, who previously bootstrapped his ventures. Initially, he operated Zenzap using personal capital while working out of Bessemer’s offices, aiming to avoid the pressures of venture-backed scaling until partner Adam Fisher convinced him of the platform's long-term potential.
Zenzap targets sectors like hospitality, healthcare, and construction, where employees often rely on personal apps that lack IT oversight or enterprise-grade security. The platform integrates task management, calendar coordination, and AI-driven search capabilities into a mobile-first interface. Paid tiers start at $51 per month, unlocking advanced features like smart task templates, voice and video calling, and automated workflows. Current clients include major brands such as FedEx, Taco Bell, and Starbucks, with staff members using the tool to manage shifts and supply chains.
