The facility features high-speed retail lines and large-format production capacity, designed to modernize manufacturing for a brand that has been sourced from the Ouachita Mountains since 1871. Chairman and CEO Eric Foss noted that the expansion is a direct response to consistent consumer loyalty and word-of-mouth growth, which have established Mountain Valley as one of the fastest-growing premium water labels in the United States.

Primo Brands Expands Hot Springs Operations to Meet Premium Water Demand
In a move to capitalize on the surging popularity of premium hydration, Primo Brands opened a new 200,000-square-foot production facility in Hot Springs, Arkansas. The plant marks the company’s first major infrastructure investment since its 2024 merger, aimed at scaling output for the historic Mountain Valley spring water brand.

Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders and Congressman Bruce Westerman joined local leaders for the ribbon-cutting ceremony, emphasizing the project’s role in regional job creation. The expansion arrives as national beverage trends shift further toward water, which has outpaced soda in total volume for 11 consecutive years. By 2025, water accounted for 46% of the refreshment beverage market, driving Primo Brands to prioritize production efficiency at the site. The new location will supply both the iconic green glass bottles familiar to fine-dining establishments and the larger 2.5- and 5-gallon jugs utilized by a growing residential delivery base.
