wisepatientAI Adds Conversational Search to Personal Health Records

Patients can now query their own medical history using plain language, transforming fragmented records into an interactive dialogue. Launched in Albuquerque, the new wisepatientAI capability allows users to extract specific insights from years of clinical notes, test results, and medication lists without manually navigating multiple provider portals.

The platform aggregates health data from various hospitals, laboratories, and specialists into a single, chronological profile. By moving beyond simple digital access, the tool enables users to ask precise questions like how their A1c levels have shifted over five years or what a physician documented regarding specific symptoms. CEO Arvind Raichur describes the shift as a move from passive data storage to active health interaction, aiming to simplify the complex task of tracking care across multiple systems.

This functionality serves as a practical resource for caregivers managing family health, allowing them to quickly retrieve information about medications or specialist consultations. While the tool is designed to facilitate informed discussions with healthcare professionals, it does not replace formal medical diagnosis. The service, which runs on secure AWS infrastructure exceeding HIPAA requirements, is currently available for free on the Apple App Store and Google Play.
