Cogitate Expands Agentic AI Strategy for Insurance Workflows

Two years after launching its CAIRA intelligence layer, Atlanta-based Cogitate is pivoting toward an orchestration model that embeds AI agents directly into insurance lifecycles. By automating underwriting and claims tasks, the company aims to strip away manual friction while keeping professional judgment at the center of every final decision.

Cogitate Expands Agentic AI Strategy for Insurance Workflows

Since its debut, CAIRA has transitioned from a supporting tool to an integrated intelligence layer within the Digital Edge Insurance Platform. The system now deploys specialized agents to handle data validation, risk extraction, and fraud detection. By automating these repetitive processes, Cogitate intends to free underwriters and claims adjusters to focus exclusively on complex cases requiring human expertise.

CEO and Co-Founder Arvind Kaushal emphasizes that the platform is designed to amplify, not replace, human intuition. The current roadmap focuses on an orchestration layer capable of interpreting user intent and coordinating multiple AI agents across policy, billing, and distribution. This interconnected approach allows the platform to manage end-to-end workflows, ensuring that AI-driven insights are delivered within the familiar environments where insurance professionals already operate.
