SCRS Unveils Data Dashboard to Quantify Clinical Site Relationships

Pharmaceutical sponsors and contract research organizations often operate on anecdotal assumptions regarding their partnerships with clinical trial sites. To replace guesswork with objective metrics, the Society for Clinical Research Sites (SCRS) launched the Eagle Insights Dashboard at the Global Site Solutions Summit in Orlando this week.

SCRS Unveils Data Dashboard to Quantify Clinical Site Relationships

The new platform provides sponsors and CROs with a benchmarked, data-driven view of site engagement, measuring performance across eight distinct categories. These include budgeting, contract language, payment efficiency, and study start-up processes. By moving beyond aggregate scores, the dashboard allows organizations to pinpoint specific operational weaknesses that frequently disrupt trial timelines and enrollment.

According to Jimmy Bechtel, chief site success officer at SCRS, the tool addresses a long-standing disconnect in the industry. While many firms claim to prioritize site relationships, they have historically lacked a standardized method to verify their standing against competitors. The dashboard utilizes anonymized, aggregate feedback analyzed by both AI and human experts to provide a rigorous foundation for internal process improvements.

A leading global biopharmaceutical company has already integrated the platform into its operations. By November 2026, the dashboard will incorporate both 2025 and 2026 survey data, enabling users to conduct year-over-year trend analysis. SCRS intends to update the metrics annually, shifting the industry toward a longitudinal model for evaluating site engagement success.
