The company’s new tier, IPSY Wellness, follows a quarterly format designed to give users sufficient time to experience results from products that often require long-term use. The service launches with three curated collections—Skin, Hair, and Total Wellness—each containing four items offered at more than half off their retail value. This pivot recognizes a broader shift in consumer behavior where beauty routines are increasingly built from the inside out, incorporating everything from scalp care to functional nutrition.

IPSY Enters Wellness Market with Quarterly Subscription Model
Sixty-six percent of beauty consumers feel overwhelmed by the sheer volume of wellness products on the market, prompting IPSY to expand its business. The company is now applying its signature curation and trial-based subscription model to supplements, skin tools, and nutritional products to simplify the discovery process for its members.

CEO Galen Smith noted that the expansion leverages the firm's existing data-driven discovery engine to bridge the gap between beauty and health. Initial brand partnerships include Goli, Sakara, and Apothékary, with plans to introduce brands like Lemme and Beam in 2027. By analyzing preference data from millions of subscribers, IPSY intends to cut through market noise, allowing users to sample products before committing to a full routine. This move aims to deepen existing member relationships while positioning the platform to reach new audiences interested in holistic health.
