Graybar Secures Eight Energage Workplace Culture Awards
St. Louis-based distributor Graybar has been honored with eight distinct accolades from Energage, including four Culture Excellence awards and specific recognition for its standing in the distribution industry. The awards are based on confidential employee feedback, highlighting the firm's focus on professional development, well-being, and internal leadership.
Kathleen M. Mazzarella, chairman, president and chief executive officer of Graybar, attributed the consistent recognition to the company's employee-ownership model. She noted that this structure creates a personal connection and a shared stake in the organization's performance. This marks the sixth consecutive year the company has received Culture Excellence awards and the fifth year it has been recognized with the Distribution Industry honor. The rankings are determined by the Energage Workplace Survey, which evaluates 15 drivers of organizational performance based on direct feedback from staff.
