The expansion at McKinney National Airport (DTX) begins on December 16 with service to Sarasota-Bradenton International Airport, followed by flights to West Palm Beach’s President Donald J. Trump International Airport on December 17. Alongside these additions, Avelo is increasing its frequency to Las Vegas to six flights per week to accommodate holiday travel demand. These routes complement the airline’s initial launch at the airport, which kicks off November 11 with service to four other Florida cities and several major U.S. hubs.

Avelo Airlines Expands McKinney Hub with New Florida Routes
Avelo Airlines is deepening its footprint in Collin County, announcing two additional nonstop Florida destinations from McKinney National Airport. Starting in mid-December, the carrier will connect North Texas travelers to Sarasota-Bradenton and West Palm Beach, bringing its total network from the airport to 11 routes.

Founder and CEO Andrew Levy cited the region's rapid growth and strong passenger interest as primary drivers for the expansion. The airline expects to employ approximately 150 staff members at its new McKinney base, where it will station three Boeing Next-Generation 737 aircraft. Introductory one-way fares for the new services start at $69, with reservations currently open on the company’s website.
