The organization also received a special events award for its work connecting state policymakers with California’s beef and dairy agricultural producers.

Founded less than two years ago by Kelly Calkin, the firm has scaled its operations from a three-person team to thirteen strategists. This growth has allowed the agency to diversify its portfolio across water, energy, environmental policy, and transportation, serving both private and government clients throughout California.

The agency’s recognition in the Programs and Campaigns category stems from its August 2025 event, "A Seat at the Table: Fueling Student Success Through School Meals." Produced for the California Cattle Council, the initiative invited legislative staff to taste school-lunch-inspired meals sourced directly from local producers. The gathering facilitated direct dialogue between more than 60 legislative representatives and industry figures, including California Department of Food and Agriculture Secretary Karen Ross.
