F5 Reports Revenue Surge Amid Profit Dip

Product revenue reached $509.8 million, signaling strong demand as clients grapple with hybrid multicloud environments and escalating digital threats. Chief Executive François Locoh-Donou framed the performance as validation of the company’s strategic positioning in an increasingly complex, AI-driven landscape. Services revenue saw modest gains, coming in at $407.7 million compared to $396 million in the same period last year.

Bolstered by these results, the board authorized an additional $1.5 billion for stock repurchases, adding to the $322 million already earmarked for buybacks. Looking ahead, the company set its fiscal 2027 adjusted earnings guidance between $18 and $18.30 per share. For the upcoming first quarter, projections sit at $875 million to $895 million in revenue, outpacing the consensus estimates held by Wall Street analysts.
