Gameday Men's Health Targets Safety in Expanding Peptide Market

Following a new federal policy from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, Gameday Men's Health is pivoting to provide physician-led access to peptide therapy. The move aims to steer patients away from unregulated "research chemicals" by requiring medical evaluations, licensed clinicians, and state-certified pharmacies for all prescriptions.

Gameday Men's Health Targets Safety in Expanding Peptide Market

Many men currently purchase peptides through online retailers that label products as "not for human consumption," a practice that carries significant risks regarding purity and dosage. Dr. Haleem Mohammed, Chief Medical Officer at Gameday, noted that the new policy allows the company to provide a legitimate clinical alternative to these overseas sources. The company emphasizes that its standard requires a thorough health history review and lab work before any treatment begins.

With more than 430 locations across the U.S. and Canada, the network positions itself as a regulated bridge for patients seeking recovery and aging support. CEO Evan Miller stated that the company's focus remains on integrating these treatments into a formal care structure rather than offering them as over-the-counter supplements. While the FDA does not formally approve compounded medications for safety or effectiveness, Gameday maintains that professional oversight by independent clinicians is essential for monitoring side effects and ensuring patients are medically eligible for therapy.
