Navy Mutual Honors Lacey Langford for Military Financial Advocacy

Langford draws on her personal background as an Air Force veteran and military spouse to bridge the gap between institutional financial guidance and the practical needs of service members. Her work, centered on the MILMO brand and annual MilMoneyCon conferences, focuses on fostering collaboration among financial professionals tasked with supporting the defense community. Navy Mutual officials noted that this firsthand perspective allows her to translate technical financial concepts into accessible, actionable advice for those navigating the unique economic challenges of service life.

The award commemorates Lieutenant Timothy Dix Bolles, who served as the first secretary-treasurer and Chief Operating Officer for Navy Mutual following his appointment in 1879. By maintaining this legacy of service, the association continues its long-standing mission to provide education and life insurance to the military community. Through this recognition, Navy Mutual highlights the critical role of independent educators in strengthening the overall financial readiness of the nation’s service members and their families.
