Live Nation earned $447.8 million in the third quarter, up from $431.5 million a year earlier, as concert revenue climbed and international markets led growth in attendance and ticket sales. Earnings and revenue both topped analysts’ expectations, according to FactSet.
Revenue rose 19% to $10.11 billion, compared with analysts’ forecast of $9.6 billion. Earnings were $1.69 a share, against 73 cents a share in the year-earlier quarter and the $1.51 expected by analysts. Concerts, Live Nation’s largest revenue source, generated $8.75 billion, a 20% increase.
The company said fan attendance increased 19% to 61 million during the quarter, with international attendance up 29%. Fee-bearing ticket sales rose 10% to 98 million; international markets recorded 20% growth. Live Nation, the parent of Ticketmaster, said international markets accounted for most of its fan and fee-bearing ticket growth in the quarter.
Live Nation expects attendance to approach 180 million this year. Ticket sales had reached about 170 million through October, already exceeding the total for all of 2025, the company said.
Chief Executive Michael Rapino said the company was investing in venues worldwide, arguing that live events offer an experience that cannot be replicated online. He said the investments would give artists more stages and fans more opportunities to attend live music.
