7-Eleven Details North American Store and Franchise Targets
Seven & i Holdings says 7-Eleven’s North American business remains on track to open 1,300 stores and convert 2,600 locations to franchises by 2030. The company plans 500 franchise conversions in 2027, according to its Investor Day presentation released online Friday.

The presentation sets a goal for 7-Eleven Inc. (SEI) to modernize more than 3,500 stores by 2030, including what the company described as “foundational” upgrades across its network.
It also repeats a target for vertically integrating fuel operations, an initiative expected to add about $400 million to Ebitda. Earlier presentations said 7-Eleven was hiring more fuel traders and pursuing midstream operations; the latest material provided no further details. Information posted online so far also did not update plans for SEI’s initial public offering, which had been postponed to later next year.
Other targets include increasing fresh food sales by $1 billion, adding 1,100 restaurants and generating $1.8 billion in sales through the 7NOW online ordering and delivery service.
Seven & i said it remains focused on organic growth rather than acquisitions. About two-thirds of its strategic investments are directed to 7-Eleven in North America, while about a fourth of that capital is allocated to Seven Eleven Japan. The presentation also set an annual earnings-per-share growth target in the high teens.
